How Sower handles your information

What we collect

• Your account: your email address and a password (stored only in scrambled form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
• Your ministry profile: your parish or ministry name, diocese, role, and what you tell us about your group, such as grades, group size and the challenges they face.
• Your curricula: the themes, Scripture, notes and lessons you create and edit.
• Your logo and ministry color, if you add them. Logos are stored at a web address that is not listed anywhere but can be opened by anyone who has the link, so only upload a logo you are comfortable sharing publicly.

Sower does not ask for teens' names or personal details, and we ask that you not enter them. Describe your group in general terms instead.

How it is used

We use your information to run your account, write lessons that fit your group, save and print your curricula, and send account emails such as sign-up confirmations and password resets. We do not send marketing email from Sower, and Sower has no advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a sign-in token so you stay signed in.

Services that help run Sower

A few trusted providers process information on our behalf, only to provide Sower:

• Supabase stores your account, profile, curricula and logo.
• Vercel hosts the Sower website.
• Anthropic (Claude) writes lesson drafts. It receives your curriculum details and a summary of your ministry profile. Anthropic does not use information sent this way to train its AI models.
• Magisterium AI provides Church teaching references. It receives general questions about the Scripture, season and topic, not your personal details.
• Resend delivers Sower's account emails.
• Google handles sign-in if you choose "Continue with Google".

Your choices

You can update your ministry profile and remove your logo at any time in Sower. To have your account and everything in it deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email cwesley@marathonyouthministry.com, and we will take care of it promptly.

Changes

If we change how Sower handles your information, we will update this page and the date above. Questions are always welcome at cwesley@marathonyouthministry.com.
